What Counts as a Dental Emergency?

• A severe, persistent toothache
• A chipped, cracked, or broken tooth
• A tooth that has been knocked out
• A lost filling or crown
• Swelling, bleeding, or signs of infection

What to Do Before You Reach Us

Rinse your mouth gently with warm water and apply a cold compress to control swelling. If a tooth has been knocked out, handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently without scrubbing, and try to keep it moist — in milk or held in place against the cheek — until you can be seen. Acting quickly gives us the best chance of saving the tooth.

How We Help

Once you're in our chair, we'll assess the problem, get you comfortable, and explain your treatment options clearly. Depending on the issue, that might mean a filling, a crown, or in some cases an extraction. Our goal is always to relieve your pain and protect your long-term oral health.
